Facial Anatomy
Charcoal and Pencil
During my Fine Art foundation course, I delved deeply into the complexities of facial anatomy using charcoal and pencil. I diligently recreated the human face’s subtle curves and structures through a combination of hatching and blending techniques. With each stroke, I explored the interplay of light and shadow, striving to capture the delicate contours and planes that define facial features. This study laid the groundwork for my artistic career, teaching me invaluable lessons about form, proportion, and expression. Through countless hours of practice and careful observation, I honed my ability to depict the human face, establishing a strong foundation for future artistic endeavours.
